Description
Friendly, confident and reliable individuals with excellent customer service skills are required to join the Lodge team. Duties include staffing the main gates and the reception and direction of visitors.


Skills/experience include:
- high level of customer service
- confidence in dealing with the public
- security experience desirable
- capability in the use of technology
- strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- ability to work independently or as part of a team


Must be flexible and able to work a minimum of 28 hours per week, spread over 4 days, Monday to Sunday, to suit the needs of the college.


Job Type:
Zero hours contract


Salary:
£10.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Hand sanitisers available for visitors and staff.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Oxford, OX1 1DP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- receptionist or porters' lodge: 1 year (preferred)

  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
- security: 1 year (preferred)


  • IT: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- enhanced DBS certificate (preferred)
- first aid certificate (preferred)

  • SIA Door Supervisor (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)

Shift availability:

  • Day shift
