Description

A specialist school in the Wakefield area are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support to students with a range of severe learning needs.

This a full time position, starting in April and working on an ongoing basis.

Experience working as a support work for young people with special educational needs and disabilities
Maths and English Grade C at GCSE (or equivalent)
Experience using positive and effective behaviour management strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
DBS that is on the DBS update service (or be prepared to undertake a new DBS through us)
