Your tasks
As Training Coordinator at Dunlop Oil & Marine Ltd you will assist and coordinate the day-to-day provision of training and development activities across the site, including Manufacturing and ESH related in line with legislation, company policies, procedures and practices.
Duties, Responsibilities and Key Tasks
Administer, set up and assist in the on-boarding process for new starters, including induction and training and ensure the programme is completed with associated documentation.
Maintain and update the training records database and files.
Provide management information and statistical information and produce standard and ad-hoc reports to the HR Manager and Departments as required including expiry of certificates and mandatory refresher requirements.
Monitor and maintain the Training / Qualification and Grading matrix for employees and Agency Workers including skills, training and competency records.
Develop, update and maintain the annual Training Plan for the Grimsby and Blyth locations.
Organise and co-ordinate internal and external training & development activities to meet the site training plan, regulatory requirements and ad hoc requirements including eLearning.
Support the HR Coordinator in identifying and sourcing appropriate qualification-based training courses for Apprentices.
Organise and co-ordinate standard and offshore medical examinations to meet industry regulatory requirements.
Identify process related efficiencies and improvements to reduce administration and paperwork and improve our systems and work processes.
Assist in documenting and standardising Training & Development processes and practices in line with Company Operating Procedures.
Support the annual Investor in People assessment process
Raise PO's and PR's on SAP
Carry out the job requirements in full compliance with the Code of Conduct.
Support and demonstrate the '4 Values' and associated 'behaviours' in carrying out your duties and responsibilities.
Profile:
A Level standard
CIPD/Training qualification (or willingness to study)
Proficient in Microsoft Office software Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and analytical mind-set
Confident with Excel Skills
Interpersonal skills
Time management & organisational skills
Experience/Knowledge Required
Previous experience in HR/Training, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Organisation, planning and coordination experience
Completing a range of tasks with different degrees of difficulty within agreed timescales
Prioritise a varied workload with minimum amount of supervision
