Due to business growth we are recruiting for an Architectural Assistant/Technologist to join our design team at our multi-disciplinary practice based on the outskirts of Newcastle.
This opportunity would best suit someone who is looking for an opportunity to work within a small, supportive practice that will foster your growth moving forward, whilst giving you experience working on an array of impressive projects along the way.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist the Design Manager in the preparation of the following:
- Design and development
- Illustrative and detailed masterplan schemes
- Site promotion and preparing Vision Documents
- Sketch and detailed residential layouts
- Producing Design and Access Statements and planning assessments.
You will need to:
- Work within deadlines and have a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating good organisational skills.
- Excellent communicator and happy to cooperate with other members of the design team.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Not essential, but preferable:
- Min 2 years' experience working within a Design Practice or Architects or House Builder.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, (or other design software), Microsoft Word/Excel/ Publisher.

£18,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
