We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool, and Wakefield.

We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Marketing Artist who possesses a sharp eye for detail.
The role of Marketing Artist sits within the Marketing Art team, as part of the wider Rebellion Marketing group.

As an experienced member of the art team, this role is to deliver art content at the highest possible quality and ensure that the integration of the work is in line with the request from marketing and the digital store team.


Responsibilities:


  • Posing and rendering high quality promotional images of characters and DLC elements
  • Producing high quality screenshots and promotional images of characters and DLC elements direct from the game engine for digital store to promote Rebellion's products.
  • Creating and modifying high quality assets for web, social media and physical media.
  • Verifying all marketing content from the marketing art team, ensuring the highest possible quality is delivered to approving parties, making improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints and artistic direction.
  • Referencing game design documents to develop an understanding of the environments, objectives, atmospheres, story and style of the project.
  • Supporting the Lead Marketing Artist in maintaining morale and building an atmosphere of creativity and enthusiasm.
  • Actively seeking innovative ways to engage a targeted audience to heighten awareness and sales potential for Rebellion's games.
  • Providing insights and specialist knowledge to wider internal teams, specifically with regards to art content and expertise, and competitor products, using external news and data sources.

Requirements:


  • Adept experience of editing and compositing skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of shooter and action games.
  • Broad experience of creating marketing art assets.
  • Excellent knowledge of the following:
  • 3d software (eg, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Blender, etc)
  • Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Composition & Storytelling
  • Production pipelines
  • Daytoday use of JIRA
  • Ability to communicate detailed solutions to any problems encountered
  • Can manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines at all levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Able to effectively communicate information and be persuasive, whilst building longterm, trusting relationships with a wide range of people and building trust within multiple teams
