Events Crew Limited are an Events Management and infrastructure provider.

We are a busy and diverse organisation who own an array of stock including fencing, barriers, Generator, Tower lights, Ground Protection Mats, Drinking Water Bowsers, Accommodation and Welfare units and much more.

We also own and operate a fleet of vehicles. Offering hire, sales, delivery, installation, de-rig and buy back on all elements.


Our busy team are seeking an organised individual who has an interest in supporting our business on a part-time basis at our offices in Henstridge.


The role would involve, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Running weekly payments
  • Preparing accounts and financial reports
  • Preparing and reporting weekly P&L to the management team
  • Month end invoicing
  • Credit control and customer statements
  • VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounting
  • Assisting with general administration when asked

Essential skills:


  • AAT Qualified/Qualified by experience
  • A good knowledge of Cloud accounting (preferably Xero) is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Motivated and reliable
  • Good communicator
  • Proactive Problem-Solving capability
  • The ability to work on your own and to tight deadlines.
  • Interested in learning about our business and the Events industry as well as the services that we offer.

Desirable attributes:


  • Knowledge of Moneysoft Payroll manager 100 would be beneficial, but training will be provided
  • Previous experience in an account's assistant role
  • Flexibility to hours worked
  • Good knowledge of tax's
  • Analytical skills

An ability to identify opportunities for improvement in the operational effectiveness of the business using financial data.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 22 per week


Salary:
£14,000.00-£16,000.00 per year
