Interim Communications Business Partner

Pay rate £278.12 per day PAYE

This opening assignment is for 6 months You will be a Business Partner managing a team to support specific services with all their communication needs. You will be the key interface between these services and the team, you'll understand their priorities, negotiate and agree the work plan and provide strategic advice and support, particularly on high-profile or sensitive projects or issues. You will be a self-motivated and talented communications manager; you will be in charge of producing high-quality content that engages customers and builds awareness and trust. As well as being an experienced communications professional you will need excellent relationship management, interpersonal and line management skills.

You will also be prepared to switch priorities when needed and get involved in the delivery when required Key responsibilities:


  • Developing and delivering communication campaigns to promote council services, new facilities or explain changes
  • Write compelling content for a variety of channels and audiences
  • Media relations providing appropriate reactive statements and proactive media releases
  • Line manage and support a team of four Communication Officers Great interpersonal skills to build relationships quickly with senior managers and advise them appropriately on sensitive communication issues

If you are successful in securing this role, please note that for the entire duration of this contract, regardless of extension you will be working this role at the PAYE rate that has been advertised. For absolute clarity, we only work on a PAYE basis, rather than entertaining umbrella pay terms, we do not offer Ltd/umbrella or outside IR35 rates.
