Job description

TAFs Garden are offering a position for a highly motivated individual to join our delivery team at our Telford store.

Duties

• Loading single and multiple drop customer orders onto the delivery vehicle and delivering around Telford and the Shropshire area.
• Planning routes beforehand
• Maintenance and due diligence checks of delivery van
• Other duties required around the yard and showroom, i.e helping customers in the yard find products and helping them collect their orders.
• Hold a full, clean driving licence
• Be experienced in a retail environment
• Have good customer service skills
• Be flexible as some weekend working will be required.

As the role includes a variety of tasks training will be provided where necessary.

The available hours are 7:30-17:30 5 days a week, with occasional weekend work expected


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Experience:

- delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)

- driving: 3 years (preferred)

• Driving License (required)
