About the Role:
As a Purchase
Ledger Controller, you'll be the backbone of our financial
operations, ensuring seamless transactions and building strong relationships
with suppliers.
Here's what you'll be doing:

Match Invoices to Purchase Orders: Ensure accuracy and compliance by meticulously matching invoices to raised purchase orders.

Authorise Invoices: Follow company procedures to ensure all invoices are authorised promptly and correctly.

Enter Invoices and Credit Notes: Keep our accounts payable ledgers up to date by entering invoices and credit notes accurately.

Code Invoices Correctly: Ensure invoices are coded to the correct nominal ledger code and site identifier.

Timely Payments: Keep things running smoothly by ensuring suppliers are paid according to agreed timeframes.

Supplier Liaison: Be the point of contact for suppliers, promptly resolving any queries or questions.

Month-End Procedures: Perform month-end accounts payable ledger shutdown procedures with precision.

Reconciliations: Conduct regular reconciliations of supplier statements to maintain accuracy.

New Supplier Accounts: Set up new supplier credit accounts and carry out necessary credit checks.

Provide Information and Reporting: Collaborate with other departments by providing necessary information and reporting as required.

Innovate and Improve: Identify and recommend new ways of working, constantly seeking to improve processes for commercial benefit.

Build Relationships: Establish key working relationships with colleagues and suppliers to foster collaboration and success.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy purchase ledger role.
