Position:


Running machinery to current standard operating procedures and to ensure all components / products meet specification requirements and quality standards whilst achieving set machine targets.


  • This role is directly responsible for:
  • Operating a panel saw
  • Operating a forklift safely
  • Following written and verbal instructions.
  • Achieve set targets on a day to day basis.
  • Effectively manage time throughout the day.
  • Daily recording of production targets.
  • Daily recording of waste.
  • Daily recording of TPM.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work station.

Requirements:


Experience needed:

  • Experience on Panel Saw is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • FLT License
  • Experience of operating heavy machinery and will need good physical strength.
  • Works to current standard operating procedures.
  • Can influence uptime of relevant machine through basic problem solving.
  • Is trained in all machine relevant procedures.
  • Ability to read basic component drawings.
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (Tape measure, Ruler, Vernier Gauge).
  • Demonstrates Premiere's standards and quality standards.
  • Manual Handling.
  • Understands and adheres to waste stream policies. Understands and adheres to the health and Safety policies.

Other information:


Hourly rate:
£12.00 per hour.


Schedule/Hours:

Monday to Friday - 6am - 2pm for 3 months and then rotate between 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on alternating weeks.
