Are you interested in a career in Childcare?

We have an amazing opportunity to take on a Modern Apprentice for an excellent After School Care facility in
Cathcart, Glasgow.

Working with children really is a career like no other.

You have the chance to shape a young person's life, inspire their creative thought process and teach them skills they will use forever.

Completing a Modern Apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Practitioner.

The successful applicant will be assisting senior practitioners and training under general direction of the manager. This is a part time position.

In a typical day you will be involved in:

Implement planned learning experiences in line with the Curriculum for Excellence
Keep children safe and well at all times
Assist with meals and snacks
Play outdoors in all weather

You should demonstrate a desire to work within the Childcare sector and have some form of relatable experience. Ideally you will have three National 4 qualifications including English. However, we understand that not everyone will have achieved this level of qualification and will take this into consideration.
