Job Duties:


  • To provide financial and accounting support to managers across the business.
  • To deliver a range of financial services covering capital and revenue.
  • To aid in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support with Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Support in the production of the annual statutory accounts.
  • Support the finance team in the production of budgets.
  • Assist with procurement processes, standards and developments.
  • Assist with financial project developments.
  • Attend monthly finance team meetings and provide positive contributions.
  • To maintain an uptodate knowledge of relevant accounting policies and guidance.
  • To implement and positively promote equal opportunities.
  • To take responsibility and set an example for the health and safety of yourself and other individuals.
  • To be committed to delivering a service that is value for money.

Financial Management:
To provide a 'business partnering' service to the business to include:

  • Timely and accurate provision of information
  • Detailed analysis of spend
  • Forecasting
  • Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible
  • Monitoring of KPI's
  • Aiding with queries / investigations

Person Specification:

The role will expose you to all levels of people, so you need to have good communication skills.

You also need to be willing to take on new challenges, using your problem-solving skills to think outside of the box.

You will need your Maths and English GCSEs at grades 4/C or above.


Salary:

£11,117 per annum


Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. 37 hours per week.

Northampton

Qualification:

This role will be supported alongside the AAT Level 3 Assistant Account standard, delivered by Starting Off.
