Care Assistant Days

Regent Residential Care Home, School Road, St Johns, Worcester, Worcestershire

£10.84 per hour

Full and part time hours available

Where you'll work
The gardens at Regent are glorious.

They are the entire length of the home and many of the bedrooms and lounge areas have patio doors leading out onto them.

We are also building raised wooden planters for the residents to enjoy growing their own, plus there is a summer house and water feature.

Our residents love trips away from the care home to places like the Cob House Country Park near Martley, where they can feed the animals and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of scrumptious cake.

Recently our gents had a fantastic time when they were taken to a sports bar in Worcester, where they played darts and pool while enjoying a pint.

What skills do I need?

Team work A happy team, makes for happy residents and a happy home
Experience is not essential, as we will support you with all the training and support you'll need to do the job, what is important is that you are caring, enthusiastic and have energy to share
Being able to communicate well is essential along with a flexible approach
You'll also be kind and have a real genuine like for older people and their needs, ensuring we treat everyone with the respect and dignity they deserve.
