The Best Connection are recruiting for a permanent placement for our client based in Rochester. Requiring a experience Plastic Injection Moulder Operative/Setter who would seek lead setting responsibilities on the shift.

Job Overview:

Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, to source a skilled injection moulding setter to join their team to support continued business growth.

Salary and Shift:

Monday to Friday 06:00 till 14:30 week 1 then 13:30 till 22:00 week rotating each week

- £14.42 per hour / £30,000pa 40 hours per week

Role:

In the role of injection moulding setter, you will be required to carry out tool changes and set machines for production runs.
As injection moulding setter you will complete daily machine safety checks on each shift using relevant check sheet.
The successful injection moulding setter will strive to achieve standard cycle times and optimum processing parameters.
Ensure correct procedures are followed during the machine startup / shut down process.
Answering machine alarms immediately and promptly carry out the necessary action required on machine breakdowns to minimise the machine downtime.
Comply with the health & safety policy and observe all the safety rules to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience within injection moulding manufacturing
Industry recognised injection moulding qualifications an advantage
Positive 'cando' attitude is a must
Good communication skills
Strong problemsolving skills
Ability to work to own initiative
