Mobile Working
(covering London and surrounding Home Counties)
Full Time - Permanent ole

Daily salary starting from £ Plus company van & Fuel card

Core Maintenance are part of Core Media Services UK Ltd who have been supporting the affordable housing sector for over 20 years with a range of services.

Our Maintenance division started off with a single maintenance van and are now a growing SME.

As a growing organisation we have an exciting opportunity for a
multi skilled operative to join our Team.


We provide tailored responsive and planned maintenance services to Housing Associations and other affordable Housing providers; Core is trusted to deliver a large number of repairs daily to a portfolio of homes nationwide.


The Position


We are looking for an experienced multi skilled operative to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy environment.

You will be working on individual jobs, going from job to job to ensure our clients receive high levels of service and satisfaction.

Jobs vary from general property repairs and maintenance: joinery, plumbing, tilling, decorating, grounds maintenance, cleaning, and void inspections. Alongside other services we provide for example Furniture moves for sales suites, and signage installation and aftercare.


You must provide a strong customer focused service providing high quality right first-time work that leave the customer happy and gains repeat business from our clients.

The Role
Investigating and completing repairs and maintenance to properties to a high standard:

  • Basic painting and decorating
  • Caulking
  • Tiling
  • Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns.
  • Fitting / Replacing damaged Kitchen units.
- basic make goods and repairs of properties

Perform necessary and important cleaning activities:

  • Performing Sparkle cleans, to a high standard.
  • These are majority void new properties being prepared for sale.
  • Performing deep cleans and builders cleans where necessary.
  • Window Cleaning
  • Patio cleaning

Landscaping:

  • Grass cutting,
  • Planting,
  • Installing garden Watering systems
  • Garden Clearance
Use our inventory system to complete reports (full training will be given)

  • Use of digital system to record your jobs, actions and also complete Void inspection reports, snagging and defect lists.
Ensure you comply with all aspects of health and safety and follow all Core's company policies and procedures.

The job role will include the specified responsibilities, but not limited to these.

The responsibilities of this post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the post or level of responsibility entailed.


Role Criteria

  • Ideally previous domestic, housing repairs and maintenance experience.
- extensive "on the job" experience

  • Knowledge of the industry to enable you to investigate and carry out Void inspections sand complete reports.
  • Performing property Sparkle cleans, and window cleans to a high standard.
  • Be positive in their approach to work.
  • Be punctual, and professional at all times.
  • Pride in delivering high quality standards.
  • An ability to work on own initiative and go the extra mile for the customer.
  • Good communicator and customer centric, Experience of working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.
  • Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
  • Job role will include the specified responsibilities, but not limited to these.
  • Full driving licence.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
From £110.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus
