**Site Manager

  • Winchester / Hampshire £55,000 £65,000 (per annum) + Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Annual Bonus**Our client is a major UK housebuilder and leading provider of desirable new homes across the South of England, the Midlands and Scotland. Responsibilities will include:


You will manage all site resources including labour, plant and materials as well as on-site health and safety and client customer service.

As a Site Manager you will also be expected to take ownership of site issues and ensure they are dealt with promptly.

You will monitor all site activity against quality standards, productivity targets and deadlines. Additionally, you will ensure that materials are ordered, stored and used in a cost effect manner. You will be responsible for identifying overspend and highlightingpotential savings.

It is essential that you are able to maintain control of sub-contractor time through itemising, programming and authorising as appropriate.

Communication is key, and you will need to liaise with other teams to update them on the progressof the project.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will work alongside the development team to ensure the site programme is planned, delivered and effectively monitored on a daily basis.


  • Experience working on housing & apartment build developments
  • Valid, uptodate CSCS & SMSTS
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality, presentation and health & safety.
  • Highly proficient in planning and project delivery on time and in budget.
  • A stable career history of permanent employment.
