Description

A leading private markets decarbonisation investor in London is looking for a talented and creative communicator with 2 to 4 years' experience to join them in a newly created role as Corporate Communications Associate.

In collaboration with the CMO and wider marketing team, you will lead the editorial and communications content and campaigns for this dynamic investor.

You will have the opportunity to shape and drive the corporate communications programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Corporate Communications Associate, you will:

  • Develop and produce compelling content for various channels, including websites, news articles, reports, podcasts, videos, speeches, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the extended leadership team, investment professionals, commercial, and strategy teams.
  • Proactively generate and implement ideas for content development and communication campaigns.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers and engage external advisers and consultants when needed.
  • Oversee the management of external writers (limited capacity).

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent written English skills, enabling you to translate complex topics into engaging and accessible content.
  • Creativity and storytelling abilities to captivate and inspire diverse audiences.
  • The capability to develop impactful and persuasive content.
  • Strong message positioning skills, allowing you to effectively communicate the organisation's investment strategies.
  • The ability to listen to colleagues and accurately incorporate their messaging and opinions into content drafts.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to provide concise briefs.


To be considered for this role, you should hold a degree, while post-graduate qualifications are optional a Masters in sustainability or ESG would be advantageous.

Additional specialised knowledge or experience related to investments in energy, sustainability or climate would be advantageous but not essential.

We value individuals who thrive on collaboration and teamwork, and a commitment or demonstrated interest in climate issues is preferred.
