Job Summary


The role of the Data Verification Specialist is to provide operational and helpdesk support for IQVIA products, in addition to monitoring, maintaining, and curating data on the IQVIA platform.

The Data Verification Specialist may also be required to contribute to a range of project-related activities, as assigned.


Summary of Essential Job Functions

Data Curation:
Curate and verify clinical trial data, to ensure the accuracy of the IQVIA products & platforms.

  • Sole responsibility for curation of facility data for a set of allocated countries.
  • Collective responsibility for curation of clinical trial investigator data.
  • Maintenance of IQVIA data assets so they adhere to guidelines which ensure standardisation.

Helpdesk Support:

  • Deliver support to customer users, investigators, and other end users who require assistance with IQVIA products.
  • Provide technical support to clients and users of external systems where required.
  • Liaise with internal IQVIA teams where required to deliver requested support.

Operational Support:
Collectively enable the successful completion of the monthly data cycle operation, and associated tasks.

  • Continuously review customer data, providing feedback on data quality where necessary.
  • Accurately update trackers on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Punctually distribute reports, as and when stipulated by detailed work instructions.
Other project-related activities, as assigned.

  • Experience of working from home
  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • Healthrelated, mathematics, and/or computer science background preferred
  • Language skills desirable

  • Proficient IT skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Time management
  • Comfortable working in a global company environment
