**Charity Community and Events Fundraiser (Temp to Perm)
Based near Thames Ditton
Immediate start

Pay:
£17.00 per hour**Our client, a fantastic charity, requires a bright and bubbly community and events fundraiser to support and facilitate the development of supporters within the community and to promote community fundraising initiatives.


Key duties of this role include:

  • Manage, achieve and where possible exceed income and development targets, taking a lead and individual responsibility for specific projects, activities and events
  • Ensure an excellent level of supporter care and stewardship to ensure that relationships with supporters are maintained and developed.
  • Project manage open challenges (e.g. London Marathon, international bike rides etc.) including looking for new opportunities, liaison with thirdparty organisers, participant recruitment and participant support.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams across Fundraising and Marketing and Communications to market and promote fundraising products, activities and events.
  • Support the Community Partnerships Events Lead and contribute to the development of annual plans and budgets.
  • Organise events as required, including liaison with venues, suppliers, volunteers and participants to give clear information and instructions and ensure all preparation is complete.
  • Ensure that accurate database records are kept in order to facilitate excellent relationship management with supporters.
  • Provide regular reports and information about activities, supporters and volunteers as necessary and upon request.
  • Be constantly alert to other opportunities for generating income that may arise, passing leads and intelligence gained in the community to other teams in Fundraising.
  • Line management of the Community and Events Fundraising Assistant.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Must have previous fundraising experience
  • Be flexible, enthusiastic with the ability build good working relationships
  • Be confident and demonstrate the ability to deliver presentations/talks to groups of supporters
  • Have an interest/passion for working within the charity sector
  • Have good IT Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Be well educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • Must have a full clean driving licence
