Compassion UK is looking to recruit a
CRM assistant to work in the Operations team to play a critical role in the processing of new sponsorships and ensuring that there are children available to be sponsored.

This role will help to ensure that we serve our supporters and internal stakeholders with excellence as we seek to achieve our strategic goal of seeing 200,000 children released from poverty.

  • Officebased at Compassion House, Fleet, Hampshire
  • Hybrid working is offered as a benefit with a minimum of 40% of hours in the office.

About the role


As a
CRM Assistant you'll work as part of the Development team within the Engagement Centre and play a critical role in setting up new sponsorships as well as processing and managing data to keep our records accurate, up-to-date and consistent.

You'll play an important part in performing quality assurance activities and supporting new developments through rigorous testing.

By fulfilling this role, you'll ensure that we serve our supporters and internal stakeholders with excellence as we seek to achieve our strategic goal of seeing 200,000 children released from poverty in Jesus' name.


Responsibilities:


  • Actively maintain and promote Compassion UK's Christian ethos and values.
  • Support the management of child availability to Compassion UK and Compassion Ireland to support key outcomes, maintain availability of children for new sponsorships, and process new sponsorships.
  • Support the effective management of data to keep our records consistent, accurate, and uptodate.
  • Resolve queries raised by supporters and colleagues across Compassion UK and Ireland and support in the management and quality assurance of sponsorship fulfilment processes.
  • Support the rollout of new systems, tools, and processes by conducting thorough testing and assist in training.
  • Build relationships with supporters and colleagues to ensure they are known, loved, and connected.
About you

To flourish in this role, you'll need:


  • Core office/administrative skills. You must be fluent in English and competent in written and numerical work, with experience of basic office systems such as Microsoft Office, including Excel.

GCSE in English and Mathematics or equivalent.

It would help (but isn't essential) to have:

  • Experience using a CRM tool or customer database
  • Customer service experience in a customerfacing role, including telephonebased work

Location & Benefits


This is an office-based role in our modern, 'agile' office with free parking, just a 15-minute walk from Fleet station.

Hybrid working is offered as a benefit with a minimum of 40% of hours in the office.

A higher proportion of remote working hours may be considered based on a number of criteria, including a difficult or excessive commute.
