My client is a well-respected businessman with a rapidly increasing team of Kitchen Fitters. What is so remarkable about my client is that he invests in his people aswell as his clients. Nothing says a job well done more than increasing work requests and my client finds himself in a position in which he is needing extra hands-on deck
I am looking for people who are keen to work, who have experience and can provide references and proof of work completed.
This is a temporary contract but if you are the right person, my client will look to extend you the offer of a permanent position.
You will need to be able to show you are not above any job, whether its safely unloading the materials on site, fitting doors, shelves, legs etc or aligning the cupboards, doors, using power tools and fixing surfaces.
Other duties may include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the pipe system.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes.
- Assemble and install a variety of pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other equipment.
- Repair and maintain existing pipe systems as needed.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functionality of pipe systems.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations.
- Proven experience as a fitter or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

From £700.00 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
Kitchen Fitter: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
