Technical Administrator - The Role:

We are looking for an office administrator to support the administrative needs of the expanding IT department.

This position involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure efficient operations on a day-to-day basis enabling engineering staff to focus on their core responsibilities.


Technical Administrator - Key Responsibilities:


  • Specific duties and responsibilities of the administrator can vary depending on the departmental and organisational needs
  • Scheduling and organising departmental appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, including coordinating calendars, booking flights and accommodations
  • Drafting and editing documents, reports, presentations, and other business correspondence
  • Responsible for formatting documents, proofreading, and ensuring they adhere to company standards
  • Maintaining and organising electronic files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality (this could involve updating contact lists, filing documents, and archiving records for future reference)
  • Escalating complex problems to appropriate departments or supervisors for further assistance
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents by gathering and organising information as requested
  • Perform general clerical duties, and data entry
  • Assisting with meeting logistics, including preparing meeting rooms, distributing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and following up on action items
  • Conducting research on behalf of managers, compiling information, and preparing summaries or reports
  • Performing other associated administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department
  • This role may include some expenses paid travel to international sites

Technical Administrator - You:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanour and customer serviceoriented attitude
