    Payroll Specialist to join their team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the smooth running of the department.

The Role:


  • Process monthly payroll accurately and efficiently for over 400 employees in compliance with UK regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure timely payments to employees, including salaries, bonuses, and benefits, while maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • Calculate and verify payroll deductions, including taxes, NI contributions, pensions, and any other deductions as required by law or company policies.
  • Liaise with HR, finance, and other departments to resolve payrollrelated inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay updated on changes in UK payroll legislation and regulations, implementing necessary updates to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Generate payroll reports and reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness, contributing to financial transparency and audit readiness.

The Person:


  • 3+ years managing payroll for large teams, with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficient in payroll softwares such as Sage, Xero for streamlined payroll operations.
  • Independent oversight of entire payroll process, ensuring smooth cycles.
  • Strong grasp of UK payroll regulations, ensuring compliance.
  • Meticulous with data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Effective communicator, collaborator, and problemsolver for accurate payroll.
