Venn Group is currently working with a well-established housing provider who is recruiting for a Housing Officer and Sheltered Housing Officer to join a highly skilled team to provide comprehensive support to their Service users.

Hourly Rate:
£ £20.70 DOE

Location:
Berkshire (Maidenhead / Reading / Wokingham)

Responsibilities:

Manage tenancy enquiries across all tenure types, being the eyes and ears on the ground
Carry out tenancy sign ups, working closely with colleagues in the voids and lettings and income teams
Undertake initial "settling in" visits and other tenancy checks and visits for starter tenants in particular, and other tenures as required
Liaise with tenants and agencies regarding tenancy management and mutual exchanges, ensuring tenants remain up to date on rent payments
Deliver a range of tenancy management and support services to residents in sheltered schemes that enable them to maintain their tenancy and access relevant services to promote wellbeing
Assist in the production of support plans to promote wellbeing and decrease loneliness and isolation
Liaise with partner agencies including adult social care, healthcare and voluntary sectors to ensure residents are safe and well in their home
Experience within a similar role, including working for a provider of social housing
A valid UK driving licence
An Enhanced DBS
Experience in the use of housing management software
Experience in income recovery
Experience of providing housing management services and related support to older people
