Description

Do you want to help us improve human health and understand life on Earth? Make your mark by shaping the future to enable or deliver life-changing science to solve some of humanity's greatest challenges.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join Behjati Lab in our Cellular Genetics Programme for a 3 year contract.

You will be working on an exciting project funded by the Wellcome Trust to study cancer and normal tissue genomics and evolution.

The Behjati group uses cutting-edge genomics and single-cell technologies to understand normal human development and how normal development relates to disease, especially cancer.

We integrate whole-genome sequencing, bulk and single cell transcriptomics with mathematical modelling of data to improve our understanding of the cancer cell and the cellular origins of disease.

As a postdoctoral fellow, you will use and develop genomics approaches and bioinformatics tools to study normal human development, genetic disorders, and the transformation to cancer.
