This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy IAPT service and contribute to the provision of a stepped-care service for psychological problems.
The post is based at St Leonard's Hospital in Hoxton but may involve travel to other community and primary care sites in Hackney.
Talk Changes is a well-established service with a commitment to quality and service innovation.
You will be joining a team of 35 PWP's, Trainee and Senior PWP's and 40 High Intensity Therapists with ready access to specialist supervision.
We also have good links with regional clinical/counselling psychology training courses and substantial in-service training programmes.The post holder will be responsible for delivery of a range of psychological assessment and low-intensity interventions
These include:
one to one protocol based treatments of common mental health problems, guided self-help, online CBT programs and psycho-educational group workshops.
We have a well-established long term conditions team of PWP and HI Therapists with opportunities for further training in this area, and a dedicated frontline staff pathway for frontline staff impacted by the current pandemic.
The service has a strong focus on staff wellbeing within the context of IAPT service provision, with opportunities for continued professional development.
