Role and Responsibilities- To complete all necessary customer contact to complete customer due diligence and/or enhanced due diligence where required to support investigations and meet regulatory requirements
- To assist with data collation for request for information such as Law Enforcement requests
- Effectively use investigative techniques to maintain business compliance in identifying and managing PEPs and Sanction screening in line with regulatory requirements, escalating matches to the relevant team
- Complete general administration duties including, but not limited to, updating relevant financial crime systems, scanning, filing and data entry maintaining accurate record keeping
- Assist in the preparation of internal reports and MI
- Maintain understanding of all types of financial crime, trends and best practices for financial crime prevention and detection
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to, but not limited to, financial crime and investigation procedures
- Ensure that exemplary customer service is provided at all times and that all customers are treated fairly and with due regard to their interests
- Reach and maintain Key Performance Indicators to required standards and specified timescales
- Undertake any further duties determined as reasonable and necessary in fulfilment of the role
Person Specification:
- Experience of using Microsoft Office
- Previous customer contact experience
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Attention to detail
- Experience of working in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to manage a high and demanding workload
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrates company values in all interactions whether internally, with colleagues or externally with customers
There is a level of flexibility around working hours, whereby, employees can start their working day between 8AM-9AM and finish between 4PM-5PM.
Salary on offer is up to £21,255 per annum, dependant upon experience.
