The role
We're now looking for a motivated & driven Account Handler (Commercial), to join us here at the Jensten Group.
Reporting to the Account Director and with a focus on financial lines and construction lead business, you will enable us to deliver exceptional service to existing clients whilst enabling the team win new accounts.
- Assisting the Exec team in offering and presenting insurance solutions, including insurance policies and other risk management solutions
- To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.
- Identify and pursue crossselling, upselling and similar opportunities. Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
- To understand client's business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance. To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA
About you
As our Account Handler, you'll be a team player who is self-motivated and who has excellent communication & written skills, with a keen eye for detail.
You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general.
You will also be or have:
- Insurance background
- Relevant qualifications (e.g Cert CII) or working towards (ideally)
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
- Worked in a similar role previously, with experience of working with Insurers and clients (ideally)
- Able to use initiative and can multitask, updating relevant systems and admin
- Microsoft proficient, with Acturis systems knowledge & experience (ideally)
