Hours: 12 hour shifts (3 on, 3 off)

Our client based in Thatcham are currently looking for 2 Electrical Engineers to join them on a full time permanent bases.

Your main duties will be to maintain the electrical control systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient running of the plant.

Also, to carry out preventative maintenance of existing plant equipment to the plan and respond to resolve breakdowns asthey arise.

To support the installation of new or refurbished equipment, working with suppliers or OEM's.

Responsibilities;

To attend breakdowns and assist the mechanical teams, being able to respond and act upon the fault report system.
Work closely with the maintenance & production teams to minimise downtime. To support improvement tasks to increase plant performance.
To be able to carry out preventative and planned maintenance, keeping the applicable system up to date
The ability to fault find and test semi & fully automated equipment.
Be actively involved in maintaining and improving department and site housekeeping standards
Ability to read and interrogate PLC data to diagnose solutions
