Job Purpose To take accountability for a designated production area, across all shifts, from a people, safety, quality, productivity, planning, equipment, and continuous improvement perspective, with collaboration and assistance from support services suchas Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.

To work, collaboratively, and productively, with the entire site team to meet common goals collectively and effectively

The Production Manager position is a key site leadership position, in supporting their direct team, supporting, and working with others, and anticipating, and planning for, challenges within a one, to six-month, window

Reports to Responsible for

Close Liaison with Head of Manufacturing Operations

The Health & Safety, Quality, Planning, Engineering, Maintenance teams along with the Production teams in other areas.

Must have a tight working relationship, aligned to common goals, with the business peers in other production areas and other functions


Key Areas of Job Ensure all health and safety protocol is followed and safety risks are dealt with before they become an issue, including maintaining a clean and tidy work environment in line with 5S standards.

Conducting annual appraisals for the team and supporting them with their development needs and aspirations, in line with succession plans that ensure we are developing talent to be the leaders of the future.

Ensuring that the Company's Policies are communicated, understood, and adhered to - [e.g.

disciplinary, grievance, quality, environmental, health and safety, equality, etc...] Ensuring that the team has all the tools, and materials, to do their job in linewith the standards required.
