Meraki Talent are engaged to appoint a permanent Audit & Compliance Officer based in West Lothian (hybrid working) paying a highly competitive base salary & benefits package.

The Role
The position of Audit & Compliance Officer is a newly created role as a result of exceptional organic growth.

The role will work closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance whilst also facing off to senior Executives including the Divisional ManagingDirector.

The role has been created to take ownership of the companies Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) dealings and compliance.

It's an extremely autonomous role that will operate UK wide and has the ability to take additional responsibilities, duties and exposureas the company embarks on an epic expansion journey.


The key role components will include:

  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reviewing and developing of all CIS processes, procedures, controls & systems
  • Researching, planning and execution of any regulatory CIS changes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with HMRC
  • Liaising with finance and feeding into invoicing, payments, cashflow and monthend
  • Periodic and adhoc reporting & analysis
To be considered for this role, you must have strong CIS exposure.

It's essential the individual also has a strong attention to detail with the ability to communicate and partner with stakeholders both internally and externally.
