The Company:
Our client is a specialist fulfilment 3PL recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader for their warehouse operation based in Blackburn.
The Role:
As a Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Inbound and Outbound operations, leading a team of operatives, ensuring all activities are completed to a high quality within the agreed timescales for a busy multi-customer pick, pack, and despatch operation.
- Day to day management of colleagues and activities within the outbound department, Coordinating workflows, and resource for the warehouse operation.
- Ensure quality standards are adhered to across all aspects of Operations and Health & Safety.
- Working with the WMS to ensure accurate stock control and quality put away standards.
It is important that you have experience of leading warehouse colleagues and allocating work to your team, whilst also having knowledge of HR processes in order to support return to work interviews, appraisals, and disciplinary meetings.
Experience of multi-customer operations is highly desirable, but most important is a consistent approach to the management of people and processes.
