GSL Education are working with a Junior School in Gloucester who are looking to add to their KS2 team.

This role is for a Year 6 Class Teacher to work for 6 months with the possibility of going full time.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, excellent classroom teacher for Key Stage 2. The role is full-time and a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team of colleagues.

The Primary school are looking for someone who shares their vision, through the provision of a consistently high quality teaching and learning experience.

You will be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all pupils and will model and maintain your highexpectations in all aspects of the school provision.

Is an excellent classroom practitioner.
Has the vision, energy and dedication to ensure outstanding progress and outcomes.
Has the ability to build warm relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
Experience as year 6 teacher is essential
QTS is desirable, however other relevant teaching qualifications will be considered

Interviews and trials are taking place right now, with a view to commencing the role immediately.

The Role:

To plan lessons and activities directly aimed at year 6 to meet pupils individual learning needs
To use a range of appropriate strategies and follow school policies for teaching, behaviour management and classroom management
To assess, monitor and record the progress of pupils in your teaching and give them clear and constructive feedback
To report to parents and colleagues on progress and curriculum
Guide year 6 pupils in the development of curiosity and knowledge
Preparing and delivering interventions with SATS in mind
Be able to provide references (Work or University based) covering the last two years
