Fabulous marketing communications role in a growing organisation in Camberley, Surrey reporting to the Marketing Manager.


You will need to bean excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal and copy writing skills to work with a growing Marketing team in developing a fully integrated marketing communications plan across the company to support all appropriate functions ofthe business.


Responsibilities of the Marketing Communications role

  • Support the growing marketing team with internal and external communications
  • Draft and edit communications and material to create engaging and creative content for a variety of channels (Articles, social media, website, intranet, press releases, biographies, testimonials, success stories and engaging content)
  • Create and execute an internal communications strategy
  • Develop, manage and maintain the new intranet platform
  • Analysis of the impact and effectiveness of all communications activities
  • Support communications for events, presentations and social media
  • Where appropriate, develop relationships with relevant media contacts
  • Development of the company brand and messaging
  • Keep updated about new marketing trends and developments

Qualifications, Skills and Experience for the Marketing Communications role

  • Degree level educated, CIM qualification or equivalent working experience
  • Experience in writing content and producing marketing material
  • Essential to have knowledge of both hard copy and digital marketing communications, including creating SEO website content
  • Experience working on marketing campaigns and reporting
  • Comfortable with metrics / analytics / evaluating effectiveness of comms using data
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Effective prioritisation of workload and time management skills
  • Computer literate competent in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe, such as InDesign, Photoshop (Desirable but not essential)
