A unique opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join the procurement team as part of a highly reputable manufacturing company based in Droitwich.

The role is offered at a salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience.


Role responsibilities of the Buyer:

  • Responsibility for a spend of approx. £4m across a variety of commodities
  • Developing strong supplier relationships
  • Conducting research and identifying new suppliers
  • Negotiating prices and benchmarking
  • Monitoring lead times and expediting

Personal specification of the Buyer:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to demonstrate effective decision making
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Can work well collaboratively


This position will be suited to you if you have held a role as a: Buyer, Senior Buyer, Category Manager, Procurement Coordinator, Sourcing Specialist or similar.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Droitwich, WR9 9AN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
