Duties/Responsibilities:


Job Purpose:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Lead.

You will be responsible for defining and shaping our existing & new products and services, as well as creating and delivering our strategic product marketing approach.


  • Your objective will be to drive revenue growth and existing customer retention as well as deliver on our purpose to 'create a better world at work'
  • You will be responsible for enhancing and developing our products and services within the product roadmap and ensuring productmarket fit


You will lead this capability and rely on SMEs, the broader marketing team and supply chain partners where relevant to help you shape the product marketing strategy, product roadmap and plans to support our growth strategy.


  • Conduct customer and market analysis to understand buying habits and competition for our new and existing products and services and utilise this to inform segmentation, targeting and positioning.
  • Use best in class tools to work with our internal SMEs and external data & customer insight on new products and services to ensure productmarket fit.
  • Develop and execute the go to market strategy for all products and services, this will include thedevelopment of product and service messaging by target sector and personas.
  • Define and shape the stories that we tell around our new and existing products and services.
Turn them into market-leading propositions that our customers want to buy.

  • Develop product marketing content that clearly and effectively communicates our value proposition, to build awareness, drive demand generation and create sales enablement.
  • Work with the wider Marketing and Business Solutions teams to design and schedule marketing activities to support product launches/developments and ongoing visibility in the market
  • This role has no direct reports.

Person Specification:


  • B2B Marketing Experience is essential. Particularly in service based industries
  • Experience in any of the areas of energy, sustainability, tech and data, workplace or facilities management would be valuable but not essential.
  • A toolkit of models that will help you shape and take our products and services to market
  • Experience in developing strategic and tactical product marketing plans and product roadmaps
  • Experience in executing competitor and market analysis to gather insights to inform decision making
  • Experience of briefing and collaborating with marketing agencies and supply chain partners to support your product marketing strategy and go to market plans

You will be:

  • Analytically minded with a passion for customercentric marketing
  • A great relationship builder with the ability to influence and sell your ideas to senior teams
  • Equipped with excellent stakeholder management skills at csuite and senior leadership level
  • With at least 15 years' experience in marketing/product marketing
  • Degree qualified or similar.
  • Above all, you'll be creative, curious and have a positive cando attitude
  • Some travel may be required (UK wide) to attend events, EMCOR UK offices and customer sites
