Description

Goodman Masson are working with one of the best Financial Services Company to source a Senior Capital Risk Manager to report directly to the Head of Department within the Enterprise Risk Function.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

Reviewing and overseeing that the Group's end to end capital calculation and reporting processes adhere to all relevant regulation, supervisory expectations, and market best practices, with a forward-looking approach.
Leading a team to provide strong review and challenge to identify, analyse, monitor, and report capital risks, as well as adhere to the risk appetite of the Bank.
Working with senior business stakeholders to challenge, develop and influence overall risk strategy for the management of capital risk.
Broad and deep understanding of International Regulatory Capital Frameworks (Basel II, III, CRD IV, CRD V, CRR, IFRS9, etc.) and ability to link regulation to components of the end-to-end capital calculation and reporting process.

2- Proven understanding of the UK regulatory environment for capital calculation and reporting processes and associated controls

Proven ability to review and challenge capital / RWA outputs, to help ensure material changes in, and drivers of, capital risks are understood.
