About The Role:

Your role responsibilities would also include working with students on a one to one and small group basis to identify their skills gaps and supporting them to develop them to be able to complete a successful applicant for their chosen destination More specifically duties would involve:

  • Locate and liaise with potential/existing HE institutions and relevant industry providers in order to provide progression information and opportunities for students.
  • To work with students on a 11 basis to promote aspirational destination goals and support them in their journey towards those goals. This would include specific guidance on relevant University Admissions Tests/Assessments and interview skills.
  • To deliver workshops/ tutorial sessions related to progression and destination opportunities from a range of HE Institutions and other industry related training, including degree level apprenticeships.
  • To liaise and collaborate with ILOs in relevant vocational departments in the college to identify opportunities for Sixth Form students to access pathway specific career experiences.
  • Support the Head of Sixth Form and Pathway Managers in arranging destination focused events, trips, speakers, experiences for students across the pathways.
  • To support students in identifying and accessing relevant career related work experience and oversee the administrative requirements of that placement.

This role is a hours per week) term time only position and payment for the 38 working weeks pro rata will be paid equally in twelve monthly salary payments.


Payment for 6.8 weeks pro rata, £1,591.27 will be paid equally in your twelve monthly salary payments in addition to the advertised pro rata salary.
