Description
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisation skills to join our busy admin department. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:4- 17:00 with a 45 minutes lunch break.

This post is based within the Optometry Admin Team providing admin support to the spectacle and contact lens services.

The role covers reception duties, telephone duties, booking appointments, processing payments and tasks associated with the purchase of spectacles and contact lenses.


Reception duties:
booking patients in for appointment and updating their details on the hospital system. Booking and managing the interpreter requests for the department


Telephone duties:
arranging and rescheduling appointments, taking payments over the telephone for spectacles and contact lenses


Admin duties:
updating patient information on the hospital system, ordering and posting spectacles and contact lenses, processing payments and liaising with suppliers and patients


Finance duties:
ordering stock and updating Acuita, processing payments via Worldpay, provide advice to patients regarding DOH benefit requirements and entitlements
