Qualifications required:
- Experience dealing with
VOIP:
1 years (required)
- 1ST/2ND line Support: 1 year (required)
To support our rapid growth, we have an immediate requirement for a Desk-Based Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team.
You will be using your knowledge and experience to help troubleshoot any technical support queries and faults for our customers.
Alongside this, you will manage the provisioning of systems prior to deployment, managing this throughout the process and helping with network provisioning.
This role will be hybrid, you will split your time between in the office and carrying out customersite visits.About the role:
- You will be responsible for building the customers system based upon their unique requirements
- Support Helpdesk
- You will be the main point of contact for our customer base providing 1st and 2nd line support and liasing with our partners to diagnose faults and solve issues.
- Number porting
- Liasing with our engineers and ensuring projects complete smoothly
- Advanced diagnostics of broadband, programming routers and supporting customers with transition over to our network.
- The role will include liaising with several 3rd party providers and internal teams to coordinate various activities.
- The role will involve going on site visits for maintenance issues for current customers
Requirements:
- 1st line / 2nd line support experience
- Experience deploying SIP/VOIP
- Internet connectivity, NAT and Firewall. LAN / WAN / WiFi
- Excellent communications skills
- Personable nature, excellent customer service skills
- Logical thinking skills, able to solve problems whilst remaining calm and delivering a professional service
- Passionate about technological advances
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise jobs in a logical manner
