Exciting opportunity for a

Commercial Analyst:
Trading and Supply Port Agency team to join this global Energy company.

The opening is within our Trading and Supply Port Agency team, who ensure all business users have access to, and are served well by, a strong network of port agents globally to deliver a safe, compliant, and competitive port call in both operational and financialterms.

The role is for a Commercial Analyst within the team with some additional project management responsibilities, initially under a fixed term contract of between 6- 9 months, but with possibility to convert into a permanent role.

The responsibilities:

Project work including planning, coordination of business testing, evaluation, reporting outcomes while optimising data integration opportunity.
Data analysis of port cost itemisation to identify areas of risk and implementation of improved benchmarking
Acting focal point for port cost estimation, handling queries, and evaluating changes to port tariffs
Acting focal point for operational port information, handling queries and cascading communications to businesses
Consolidation of reporting of agents' performance for KPIs and complaints
23 years experience of commercial operations in shipping and trading.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to thrive in a fast past, high energy, and demanding working environment.
Skill in collaborating to optimally serve the needs of a multitude of commercial stakeholders across the business.
Commercial acumen with curiosity to challenge the status quo.
Knowledge of commercial operations in shipping and trading.
Experience of utilizing KPI metrics to evaluate performance.
