EV Solution consultant - Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partners closely with the EV team consisting of; technical architect, online/mobile product owner, software engineer and product/solutions manager to provide technical solutions.
- Becomes the domain expert for our customers' businesses and gains a deep knowledge of their infrastructure and internal systems.
- Analyses current architecture to identify gaps and opportunities for enhanced capabilities and automation frameworks.
- Analyses trends in technology to assess the impact of emerging technologies on the business, and to provide viable solutions that address technology and business needs.
- Research technologies and assess their fit for the challenge at hand. Makes recommendations on available technology from a partner / buy perspective with a bias toward accelerating market facing solutions.
- Produces conceptual and logical architectures to meet strategic business and technology objectives through documentation of systems, architectures, process flows and valuechains.
- Manages tradeoffs between speed to market, quality, security, and financial impact.
- Educates and trains clients and stakeholders about the benefits of our approach to software and solutions development.
- Collaborates with the team to create a successful project handoff plan.
- Engages with partners and vendors from research to ensure service delivery.
- Work alongside development teams, leading meetings where necessary, and serves as a guide and decision maker for technical solutions.
Required Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficient in OCPI (Open Charge Point Interface) knowledge.
- Excellent skills in spoken and written English language.
- Previous consulting experience.
- Strong experience with AWS. Understanding of Mulesoft is a plus.
- Proficient and experience with SQL management studio.
- Strong experience designing and delivering features on both server and client sides of the development stack.
- Demonstrated experience researching new tools, acquiring new skills, and implementing your new knowledge on the fly with confidence and accuracy.
- Experience collaborating on highly distributed teams.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.

£70,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
