Responsibilities:


  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide mobility support by assisting patients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
  • Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration rate.
  • Assist with medication administration under the direction of registered nurses or healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and report changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
  • Support healthcare professionals during medical procedures and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records, including observations and care provided.
  • Ensure patient comfort by assisting with positioning, changing bed linens, and providing emotional support.
  • Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries, including fall prevention strategies and infection control practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
£12.00-£13.50 per hour


Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Care home: 1 year (preferred)
  • Home care: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
