REQUIRED - STORES PERSON

SALARY TBC DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE

The British Hovercraft Company have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team for a Stores Person, here at our facility in Sandwich, Kent.

The successful applicant will need good knowledge of Excel, Inventoria (or similar stock systems), production schedules, BOMs, to work well within the BHC team as well as working on their own initiative.

We take pride in our traditional engineering methods and high build quality which begins with quality materials.

A clean driving license and own transport is essential. Experience towing trailers would also be an advantage.

Our current stock system is in place, but the successful applicant should be looking for ways to improve ordering and stock control to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Duties include - but not limited to:

• Procurement
• stock ordering
• Stock control
• Liaising with suppliers
• Preparing orders for the manufacturing team and private customers
• Opening credit accounts
• Improving quality of parts where possible
