We are looking for an awesome HR professional to come and join our team We are in an exciting period of cultural change and this role offers the opportunity to get stuck in, get creative, work collaboratively, learn and grow your career, and make a massive difference to our people.


Reporting to the HR Director, you will work closely with the business leaders in the functions you support to shape and deliver their people plans.

You will be a trusted partner, driving performance and engagement and supporting your stakeholders to develop and lead high performing teams.


You will play a key role in our People team, working closely with the Talent Acquisition and L&D Partners to drive business initiatives and with the HR Advisor and Administrator to ensure data, systems and policies are accurate and up to date.

We offer a hybrid working model, where you will be in the office 3 days a week.

That will mostly be our Milton Keynes office but we have another office in Basingstoke and the team are asked to travel there once a month.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with Executive Leaders, building strong, collaborative relationships to support the delivery of functional and business wide strategy.
  • Advise and coach line managers and employees on all employee relation matters including disciplinary practices, conflicts and grievances, absence, performance management and capability issues.
  • Respond to adhoc enquiries from employees, managers and outside organisations regarding HR, pensions and payroll matters.
  • Review and update company contracts, policies, procedures and other relevant documentation to ensure they are in line with Employment Law and the latest guidance.
  • Support talent and performance processes, working with managers to proactively manage performance issues as well as preparing for and providing input and support to Talent Review and Succession planning for functional areas/s.
  • Work alongside L&D Partner to share functional training needs and support design and roll out of employee training and development initiatives.
  • Work alongside HR Director and People team to drive Culture and engagement activities, providing support on Employee Engagement actions for functional areas and wider business, providing input and support to Employee Voice forum, as well as supporting wellbeing and D&I initiatives.
  • Maintain standards to meet compliance regulations with strong understanding of UK labor law and the organization's legal and compliance policies.
  • Work with the team to create, share and followup on HR analytics & metrics as part of overall People Data
  • Maintain Employee records, ensuring our HRIS (CipHR) is accurate and that managers are utilizing correctly.

About you:


You will be:

  • A great collaborator. Able to build relationships quickly, gaining trust and credibility through your honesty and pragmatism.
  • Able to communicate confidently with a variety of different stakeholders, challenging appropriately when needed.
  • Comfortable travelling to our Basingstoke office on a monthly basis.

Experience:

Essential

  • Proven experience in HR environment in same or equivalent roles
  • CIPD Fully or part Qualified (Level 5) or equivalent certification
  • A strong HR generalist background.
  • Proven experience supporting a broad range of Employee Relations casework in a commercial and empathetic way.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK employment law and you will love keeping up to date with developments in employment law and best practices to build these into our own processes.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience of defining and building Reward and Recognition strategies
  • Comfortable with data analysis and utilising HRIS systems

Desirable

  • Experience supporting office based and fieldbased environment preferred.
  • Ability to facilitate/deliver training programs for business leaders and associates.
  • Experience of job evaluations, grading architecture and salary benchmarking activities would be beneficial
