Description
_Due to continuing growth, our client is keen to appoint an Electronics Test & Quality Inspector who will be responsible for goods inwards inspection, as well as the inspection of cabinet-built systems_

  • This role is suitable for someone technically minded, with a background in testing and inspection, ideally from either an electronics or manufacturing setting._

Bulwell, Nottingham

Full time, permanent

Hours:
Mon - Thurs, 8.00am - 4.30pm & Fri 8.00am - 1.00pm

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Key tasks:


  • Goods inwards inspection (visual as well as functional testing of the units), including product traceability and goods inwards inspection reports.
  • Review and inspect returned material (visual and testing) as well as faulty products.
  • Liaise with suppliers to rectify any issues
  • QA of finished product
  • QA of project at different stages, build, test, and preshipping
  • To maintain all documentation levels, i.e., job folders, Bills of Material, and Punch Lists as required by the management.
  • To liaise with all internal departments to ensure timely completion of assigned test activities.

Key skills:


  • Quality inspection experience from a manufacturing background desirable
  • Ability to read electrical drawings
  • Electronics knowledge
  • Must be diligent with good attention to detail
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports
