This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role involves supporting the progress of a Reception child.

You will be supporting the pupil 1:1 during class time as well as during break and lunches to ensure academic and social development.

The hours are:
9.00am pm 15 hours a week (5 mornings a week)

Required as soon as possible. Experience preferred. This is a level 2 post, scale point 5.

Ideally the successful applicant will be:

• Able form positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff and work as part of a team
• Have knowledge, understanding and skills associated with supporting children.
• Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Have high expectations of pupil behaviour.
• Contribute to the ethos of a friendly school, in which the personal development and wellbeing is given the highest priority and where both academic and personal qualities of children are recognised and valued.

Some professional or personal experience with children with additional needs is desirable

Closing date noon on Tuesday 9th May with interviews likely to be held the same week.
