We are now seeking a noble
Head of Financial Reporting, to hold full responsibility for internal and external reporting for the group, with key accountability in ensuring compliant and accurate reporting of the Company's financial results.

The role will include the following specific accountabilities;

Statutory Accounts:

Preparation of annual statutory accounts for all Companies (IFRS)

To be the primary lead in the external audit process

Ensure compliance to all relevant financial accounting regulations

Attendance, as required, at Audit & Risk Committee meetings

Quarterly Group Reporting:

Manage the preparation of quarterly group reporting pack

Tax Support:

Management of relationship with outsourced tax provider

Preparation of tax compliance information, including Research and Development tax credit claims

Manage transfer pricing activities between group companies

Internal Controls:

Establish and maintain robust controls across all financial reporting activities

Continuous review of procedures, processes and system tools

To support internal control and internal audit process

Support of annual SAO (Senior Accounting Officer) certification

Other:

To act as finance business partner to key decision makers within the business

To support the forecasting, budgeting and strategic plan process

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE CONSIDERED;

Qualified Accountant; ICAEW ACA or FCA Chartered Accountant Or; ACCA FCCA Certified Accountant
Essential
Previous experience in roles such as: Audit Manager / Assistant Audit Manager / Audit Senior / Senior Manager / Senior Audit Manager / Financial Accounting Manager / Financial Reporting Manager / Senior Financial Reporting Manager / Financial Accountant [Those with leadership experience seeking a first move from Practice are encouraged to apply]
Willing to work in a hybrid model, being present in the office in Poole, more often than not in the first 12 months
Sound technical accounting knowledge
People management experience
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Unquestionable personal and professional integrity
Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
