First Choice Bangor are excited to be recruiting Permanent Care Assistants on behalf of Dunluce Healthcare Group - Oakmont Lodge.

Oakmont Lodge prides themselves on their quality care in their Hotel - style accommodation based in Bangor.

The home offers nursing, residential and dementia care, with a total of 80 bedrooms.

They are looking for the highest quality of staff who have a passion for care who will be a great asset to their team.

This will be a
permanent role with day shifts and night shifts available, you will be working 34.5 hours per week on a rota basis Monday to Sunday, with a pay rate of £10.42 per hour.


What the Job Entails:

This is a diverse role and will include a number of key areas such as:

  • Assisting residents with meals and fluids
  • Providing personal care to residents and assisting with daily activities
  • To promote independence where possible and encourage selfsupport
  • Assist nursing and Management teams
  • Communicate relevant information and document all necessary information accurately

What We Need from You:


  • Must have at least 6 months experience
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or currently working towards it
  • Live Registration with NISCC
  • A capability to complete paperwork
  • Closing date of advertisement 17th March2023
