Account Coordinator (Midlands Contracts Team) - Maternity Cover

Job Introduction

Key Responsibilities
Manage and build relationships with existing and potential customers.

Responsible for the production and issuing of estimates.

Undertake contract negotiations with customers to secure orders.

Ensure all estimates are issued and chased in line with standard return periods.

Attend customer / pre-contract meetings where necessary.

Manage internal customer status structure in accordance with the sales strategy.

Ensure the internal customer database is kept up to date.

Assist in identifying the required sales marketing material.

Attend and contribute to internal monthly sales meeting and deliver agreed actions.


Skills and Experience
HNC/D or equivalent in a related discipline.

2 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry, sales, estimating or account management.

An ability to work on own initiative; proactive, self-motivated and driven.

Ability to take full ownership of a task.

Ability to multitask on several different activities.

Self-directed and self-motivated with excellent time management.

Ability to identify and define problems and propose and implement solutions.
